The government has raised petrol prices to Rs2.73 per liter.
On Thursday evening, the interim governance increased fuel prices by Rs2.73 per liter over the ensuing period of two weeks.
According to a press release from the Finance Ministry, the current price of petroleum is Rs275.62 per litre, instead of Rs272.89 previously.
The selling price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has gone up by Rs8.37 to Rs287.33 per liter.
During a midnight the release, the Ministry of Finance announced that the federal government decided to modify current pricing of petroleum goods for a period of two weeks commencing on February 16, was proposed from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority. The press release made unclear of alterations in the cost of kerosene or light diesel fuel.
