In a challan filed in an anti-terrorism court, the former prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has been identified as the main suspect in eleven lawsuits filed during the months that followed of the May 9th riots. The challan names the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf the head alongside other party members as top alleged in accidents of trespassing that occurred at the city Army Commander’s House (Jinnah House), Questions Tower, also known as Shadman Law Enforcement Agencies Station, as well as Sherpao The bridge throughout nationwide demonstrations which erupted after Imran’s imprisonment on May 9 by the paramilitary forces Rangers due to injury, defendants include PTI founder Imran, founder organizational leader, and previous Punjab governor Omar Sarfaraz Cheema, previous regional politicians Mian Mehmood ur Rashid and Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, the fashion designer Khadija Shah, & Sanam Javed.

Imran was apprehended on May 9th from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) assumptions, where he was showing up for hearings relating to the Al-Qadir Company dispute. Protesters erupted across the country shortly following his detention, with protesters destroying important governmental & military facilities, besides various other acts of damage.
