Further motion for delaying polls filed in Senate.
Senator Hilal-ur-Rehman, an independent senator of FATA, filed a motion to defer voting. The motion declared that severe temperatures and snowstorm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa limits people from that region polling in an appropriate setting.
The motion asserted that due to safety worries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, politicians are frightened feeling a terrorist assault, and that there is a feeling of deficiency across both candidates and voters in the area. The motion also stated thus the timing of votes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has proven to have been improper, and it suggested the general election might be rescheduled onto a more acceptable timetable rather than February 8.
