Syed Murad Ali Shah, newly elected Chief Minister Sindh, stipulated a rainfall catastrophe in the region.
Meteorologists envision rainfall, thunderstorms, & ‘a handful severe rainfall’ across Karachi & other regions of Sindh. while Chief Minister Sindh stipulated to all governmental & business places in Karachi were ordered to close on a half-day Friday.
While Sindh prepared expecting severe weather, the meteorological department of Pakistan (PMD) forecasted “rain/thunderstorm including sporadic strong showers” in Karachi & other regions of the province from Friday.
In accordance to the Meteorological department’s newest bulletin, “rain/thunderstorms involving rare severe rainfall” will be expected for northwestern parts of the entire province during February 29 till the 2nd of March. Identical climate conditions will probably persist over the remaining areas of the territory beginning on March 1, 2024.
Chief Minister Sindh, stated that the “strong rainfall can trigger flooding in cities in beneath the locations. Fisherman in Balochistan are advised avoid to go into the ocean’s depths until the beginning of March, and those living in Sindh should exercise precaution within the upcoming time frame”.
As the PMD’s weather forecast, under the aftermath of the powerful waveform “rain/thunderstorm including few strong rainfall expected in Kambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur, and Dadu before next dawn.”
