Accordingly, the government of Pakistan has issued a notification announcing reduced petrol price reduction effective June 1, 2024.
Additionally, to the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance Division, the price of petroleum products has been reduced by Rs 4.74 per liter. However, the price of high-speed diesel has decreased to Rs. 3.86 per liter.

The Ministry of Finance government of Pakistan stated that the new petrol price will be reduced further by Rs4.74 per liter, making it the third successive fortnightly review drop.
With these adjustments, the price of petrol products stands at Rs 268.36 per liter, while the new price of high-speed diesel is Rs 270.22 per liter. The new petroleum prices will be effective for the next fortnight, starting June 1st.

Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, ordered the Ministry of Finance earlier day to reduce prices of petroleum products to Rs 15.4 per liter for a further two weeks. Meanwhile, the high-speed diesel price was reduced by Rs 3.86 per liter to Rs 270.22 from Rs 274.08 per liter.
