Armed men kidnapped the session judge near the boundary of KPK
Armed men abducted the session judge near the boundary separating Tank & Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officials reported.
D. I. Khan, District & Sessions Judge Shakirullah Marwat, who had been posted in South Waziristan, was abducted by armed men close the Afghan border towns of Tank & Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
DI Khan’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mohammad Adnan verified the event, incorporating it actually took place at Bagwal, a village located near the Tank-DI Khan boundary. The abducting happened whereas the sessions judge went back to DI Khan after duties.
KPK Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur, however, taken note for the incident and directed the inspector general of police to ensure the justice’s safe rehabilitation.
“Emergencies measures must be performed to retrieve the judge. “Everything of the resources available should be used to fulfill this objective,” he said in a press release issued by the KPK administration.
“The purported abduction of the judge in question is extremely punishable & regretful. The elements associated in the incident cannot escape the grasp of laws. “The provincial government will employ every possible action to retrieve the judge,” declared Chief Minister Gandapur.
