JUI-F begins protests across KPK condemn allegedly fraud in elections & SC determining in ‘forbidden materials’ dispute.
On Friday the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) organised demonstrations to protest within several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand as well as Hazara regions regarding response to allegations of suspected interference in elections including a Supreme Court (SC) ruling regarding a matter involving ‘unlawful stuff’.
Religion groups as well as online social networking viewers have recently taken issue via the Supreme Court’s refusal to make public a person who was charged of sharing allegedly prohibited devotionals, that relocated just over two weeks shortly after the upper court’s sequence upon a petition towards a Lahore High Court decision.
The JUI-F senior council encouraged rallies of protest today shortly after Friday prayers, including protests taking place in Shangla, Lower Dir, Battagram, Buner, as well as Hazara and Malakand areas.
Protests also took place in KP’s connected areas.
People throughout protests chanted shouts criticizing the superior legislature & accusing influence in the general elections. In Shangla, protests were held in Bisham, Alpuri, Kana, and Puran tehsils, with JUI-F supporters decrying the voting authority & interim government.
